The renovation of the BayArena pitch was fully executed by heiler during Bundesliga break in summer 2021. The old pitch from 2009 has been removed completely. Afterwards our team installed a new draiange, a new irrigation as well as an economical and ecological turf heating system.

We have installed a special turf-bearing layer for hybrid turf and then implanted the heiler Sporthybrid R system at BayArena Leverkusen. For perfect conditions a customised seeding mixture was sown.
