The DFB Campus in Frankfurt am Main has been home to the German Football Association since 2022. Built on the site of the former horse racing track, the modern complex houses the association’s administrative offices, academy and accommodation facilities. Alongside it, heiler constructed several training pitches with natural turf, hybrid turf and artificial turf, as well as sand training areas, over a twelve-month period. These facilities provide top-level training conditions for youth teams, training courses and the men’s and women’s national teams.

Around 40,000 m² of training surfaces were constructed in total. Highlights include the hybrid turf on training pitch 1 and the unique indoor football hall, which houses an 8,000 m² artificial turf pitch. Construction of the outdoor sports facilities involved installing approximately 7,000 metres of drainage pipes, 2,000 metres of drainage channels, 4,500 m² of paving, 560 cubic metres of beach sand, 505 metres of ball-stop fencing, 106 pop-up sprinklers and 16 floodlight masts.
