In 2006, we constructed all the playing surfaces at Borussia Dortmund’s new training centre in Dortmund-Brackel. Since then, the training ground has been continuously expanded and modernised. Throughout this period, BVB has continued to entrust us with all its sports turf pitches.

In summer 2016, for example, a Sporthybrid R hybrid turf system was installed at the training ground to provide the same conditions as those at Signal Iduna Park. To achieve the best possible result, the hybrid turf system was installed directly into the rootzone layer before the pitch was seeded.

In recent years, the training centre has been expanded with an additional artificial turf pitch and two natural turf training pitches. Further investment in modernising the infrastructure included the complete redevelopment of training pitch 1, which also hosts youth team matches, and training pitch 3. Both pitches now feature insulated, energy-efficient undersoil heating and the stitched Sporthybrid R hybrid turf system. Another training pitch features hybrid turf with a reinforced rootzone layer.
